What’s Included in Your Transfer Price
Walk-In Convenience No appointments, no drop boxes, no surprises. Just walk into our Huber Heights location during business hours and hand your videotapes directly to us — in person. True Brick-and-Mortar Service We’re not an online mail-in company or working out of a back room. We’re right here in Huber Heights, part of the Dayton area, open Monday–Friday, 9–5, and Saturday, 10–1. All Work Done In-House Your videotapes never leave our shop. No outsourcing. No shipping. Every transfer is handled by experienced technicians using professional playback decks and real-time capture. Signal Stabilization with Time Base Correction Each tape runs through a professional Time Base Corrector (TBC) during transfer. This stabilizes the video signal, smooths handheld camera jitter, and prevents the jumping or distortion common in DIY transfers. Output Options Choose DVD, flash drive, or digital download — or any combination. DVDs add a small $2 per-tape fee for disc and setup time. Flash drives are available for $10 each, or you can bring your own unopened drive. Smart File Naming We don’t use random filenames. Each video file is labeled clearly — for example, “01 Smith – Christmas 1991.” If no title information is available, we use “(no title)”. Fair, Honest Pricing You pay only for videotapes that we can successfully digitize. There’s no charge if a tape is blank or damaged beyond recovery. Base price: $19 per tape. Simple, straightforward pricing — no packages, no gimmicks. Over 20 Years of Experience For more than two decades, our family-run business has helped thousands of Dayton-area families transfer and convert videotapes to digital with care, professionalism, and pride.

I dropped off a bag of VHSs from my mom, and a couple weeks later, they were on a flash drive for me to watch. This service is so valuable. I'm thankful to have these home movies filled with memories again! The owners were super kind and take a lot of pride in their work.
I had all my family's VCR and Super 8 tapes put on flash drives for my children as a present. Curtis Media Transfer did an excellent and timely job. The receptionist is very friendly and explained the process. I had to return months later to fix one of the drives, and they were so nice- even loaded them onto an external drive for me as a courtesy. I will always use Curtis Media Transfer for my media transfers. Their prices cannot be beat!
Great people and wonderful product. They really are about their customers and their product. Highly recommended!
